ok this is where i defend crazy-ass louboutin... because you're wrong.
if you take pretty much any pair of high heels you own and stand them up, they'll most likely teeter. Louboutins are perfectly balanced, no teetering, which is the mark of a true craftsman. They're expertly made.

okay i'm really hoping someone can shed some light here.
i just bought a pair of pumps and the soles on them are leather. like, shiny leather. when i walked with them in the store, i couldn't even stand on the carpet because the soles were so slippery. i thought that in the past i had heard of people just getting soles put onto leather-bottom shoes so i bought them figuring i'd google it when i got home. well, now i googled it and i'm getting a lot of different responses, many of which are saying that i shouldn't add any rubber sole to them at all because then the leather will....rot? but then i can't walk in them! does anyone have experience with this? will crosspost on bco, too.

- I totally prefer leather soles to rubber ones. After they get a little scuffed I find them to have more grip than thin rubber which stiffens in the cold. You can do a couple things--Scuff them with some sandpaper, or take a slow walk around your neighborhood. It only takes one long walk to get the slippery coating off.

I think the literal interpretation is exactly that: a giant slab of meat, awaiting butchering, not sexual contact. Therefore, a woman wearing them has no problem with that, which was my initial problem with it.

the leggings or the boots? i mean, full disclosure: the problem with the leggings is that regular yoga makes my thighs a little bit larger, which is totally fine with me except that when i bought them i hadn't been to yoga in months and now that i'm going more frequently they're just sort of unflattering on me.
the boots i bought hoping and praying that they'd fit and they were a half size too large. i put an insole in them and it makes them fit lengthwise but it makes them cut into the top of my foot. i tried to wear them on NYE and had to turn around after a block because they were digging into me so hard (plus the insole was totally visible because of the cut-out part).

My two biggest problems are of course the open toe which is pretty much a crime and the heel looks like it was
put on the wrong boot. These wouldve been better as just plain engineer boots but someone went all
